New Seat Upholstery

After 6 years of sitting in a hole, I finally got the front seat of my Nova re-done. It cost a big penny, but is sooooo worth it because I found a guy that had the original material. Here are some before and after pics:

WHEW, Party Week!

Today was a nice break from this last week of partying and it continues tomorrow night with the San Jose Grand Prix and Hot August Nights next week. We celebrated Regina and her mom's Bday's. What a blast!
Teena's Bday: This was the Sober, Sophisticated adults discussing business and eating Sushi at Nishiki party. (Yeah right, there were drunks everywhere and party poppers exploding randomly).
Regina's Bday: The crazy youngsters letting loose at the poolside during another nice-near-100degree-day. We put on a nice show for her with glowsticks, stunt men, and a syncronized swimming performance as seen below. (Did you know that you can shoot a glowstick out of a fun noodle using compressed air and it will go around 500+ feet high? Jon and I get the credit for discovering that one!)

Hollywood Marriage!!!

Usually I don't give a crap, but it's JESSE JAMES!!!! He married Sandra Bullock :) Nice! All the news sources are posting HER name and pics all over the place saying that she got married as if everyone cares about her and no one knows Jesse. HAHA Oh well, still a score for the gearhead!!! And better than the adult super star he was married to before :P Jesse James rules!

Very Cool!

Worthy of any inconvenience to the Sacramento community, hundreds of plice officers, sheriffs, CHP, and fire crews participated in a massive motorcade today to honor two Sheriff Deputies who died in a helicopter crash last week. I saw squad cars from Medford, OR and Sparks, NV and any city that you can think of in California. It truly is an honor and a tribute that shows what a brotherhood these workers have. Thank you officers.
Here is a pic of a small part of the motorcade:

Here are the firemen that were on the bridge with us. They put up their ladder with an American flag at the top:

Happy Anniversary!

Just wanted to wish Regina a Happy Anniversary! We have been married for 6 years now! I can't believe that it's been that long. I've had a great time. Here are some classic pics from our wedding (scanned so the quality isn't the greatest):

BABY ON BOARD!!!!!

This is amazing! Regina is only 6ish weeks pregnant and we've got a hearbeat. The first Sonogram was today and here are the results: A Baby! (no recognizable gender yet since it's the size of a peanut)
The baby is the fuzzy blotch in the black circle ^

^ This shows the heartbeat (158 beats a minute) and the little fuzzy blotch above the larger fuzzy blotch is the yolk sac (nutrition giver). We could hear the heartbeat and see the heart fluttering. It was cool.

New paintball gun

At the pump day tourny I picked up a new gun. The guy was nice enough to let me have it for $18. I was blown away and couldn't refuse :) It had leaky air problems so I fixed them. It's a 32-degrees PTXtreme. It's semi-auto, holds 10 rounds, and uses a CO2 cartridge. Fun gun because it's so compact.

Paintball: Pump Day Tournament

Here's where I was Sunday:
It was a 3 vs. 3 random draw tourny. There were 7 teams. We lost our first game against Team 1 then won the rest of our games. Team 1 went undefeated. We had to beat them twice in the finals to win because it was a double elimination tourny. More Pics
I'm the one running and shooting (because I'm that coordinated) :P

My team got second place:

ROFL Waffles on Ebay:

you gotta see this! This guy is over the top:
ROFL Waffles

(For those who aren't computer nerds:
ROFL = Rolling On the Flool Laughing
BRB = Be Right Back
WTF = What The F*&$
OMG = Oh My God
I know I missed some but those are the most common
What is ZOMG?)

DODGE CHARGER POLICE CAR

So, when the new Dodge Charger came out no one that I knew (including me) was very thrilled at the fact that it was going to be a 4-door. We were all very sad actually. However, If the following happens then it will be well worth it! The Charger is looking to become a police car. It will have the 5.7L Hemi and put out 340hp and will be quickest 4-door cop car since the '69 Polara (according to Hot Rod Magazine). I hope the CHP is getting them too. It should be showing up this fall so watch your rearview mirrors :)

Lazy

WOW, I've been lazy lately. My last post was over a week ago and I didn't check my e-mail over the weekend. We had a great weekend with the parents celebrating Father's Day and giving our family a nice surprise. We got to see Cleo's puppies and they are all grown up. Here are a couple pics:

Raised from the dead?

Not really, just from a four year nap. I took the AMX out for the first time in four years (maybe more) and washed it today. Then put a car cover on it and put it back into the garage until funds provide a means to work on it. What a beautiful car! (I don't care if you don't agree)

Petals Around the Rose

How many Petals are around the rose?

The smarter you are the longer it is supposed to take.
Regina got it on the first roll. I spent 10 minutes and never got it :)

I think it's because the more schooling you have the more close minded you become.
